At Lidl, our warehouses are the backbone of our business, helping our stores run smoothly. As a Warehouse Cleaner, you’ll be a vital part of our team – ensuring our warehouse is spotless throughout the day. You’ll always go the extra mile, ready to roll up your sleeves and get the job done.
What you’ll do
* Cleaning all warehouse areas, including the floors, fixtures, fittings, and mopping up spillages
* Removing and disposing waste packaging from the warehouse floor to minimise trip hazards
* Ensuring ‘clean as you go’ stations are stocked e.g. tissue roll, hazard signs
* Clearing all fire exits of blockages and litter
* Emptying the recycling stations and moving them to the Recycling areas
* Confidently operate cleaning machinery
* Proactively make sure that hygiene and Health and Safety standards are met at all times
What you’ll need
* Have a keen eye and attention to detail
* Experience in cleaning or maintenance (beneficial but not essential)
* Ensuring compliance with Corporate Code of Conduct and Principles
* Follow internal guidelines and standards
* Be flexible in your work and open to executing individual tasks (excluding picking) if necessary
