We are now looking for a motivated Key Account Manager to manage our product portfolio, strengthen relationships with existing customers, and develop new opportunities. This is a UK wide role, so we are looking for someone who is motivated to be out on the road meeting new customers and identifying new business opportunities, so having strong business acumen is essential.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to maximize opportunities and protect current business.
* Act as a trusted partner to customers, understanding their challenges and aligning our portfolio to meet their needs.
* Build and implement tailored account plans, ensuring goals and opportunities are shared across the organisation.
* Support product promotion through customer engagement, presentations, and targeted activities that deliver measurable results.
* Build relationships with customers across multiple platforms to maintain contact and identify evolving needs.
* Manage multiple product requirements, taking a strategic approach to customer interactions.
* Act as a role model for the organisation within your customer base.
* Promote our full value proposition to strengthen market share and identify new growth opportunities.
* Collaborate across teams to ensure alignment and build a strong internal support network.
* Embrace new approaches to communication and sales proposals to increase effectiveness.
* Review account plans regularly to ensure opportunities and actions remain current and achievable.
* Maintain in-depth knowledge of company products, services, and the overall value proposition.
* Keep up to date with industry trends and market changes to ensure messaging and solutions remain relevant.
Requirements
We are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven individual with strong account management experience. While experience within healthcare or medical supplies is beneficial, it is not essential. You will bring:
* Proven experience in account management and sales within the healthcare, medical and wholesale supplies sector.
* Strong business acumen
* Strong influencing and communication skills at all levels, both internally and externally.
* The ability to interpret complex product data and create compelling, customer-specific proposals.
* Confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
* A proactive, enthusiastic, and self-starting approach.
* Excellent organisational skills, with attention to detail and the resilience to thrive under pressure.
* Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in MS Office and relevant CRM systems.
