Radiology Assistant/Spire Nottingham/Tollerton/Bank/Ad-Hoc Shifts
Spire Nottingham, Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Radiology Assistant to join the bank team.

Duties and responsibilities:
To assist the multi-disciplinary team to provide exemplary patient care and examination, working within set protocols within the diagnostic imaging department.
1. Undertake routine tasks related to individual’s health and well being.
2. Assess the health and well being needs of people whose needs are relatively stable and
consistent.
3. Establish and maintain communication with people on routine care matters.
4. Develop own and others’ personal development.
5. Monitor and maintain health and safety and security for self and others.
6. Contribute to the implementation of services.
7. Help to maintain quality.
8. Promote people’s equality, diversity and rights.
9. Collect, collate and report routine and simple data and information
10. Assist in the application of technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment.
11. Acknowledge the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understand own
responsibility as agreed with line manager in the prevention and control of HCAI.
12. Assisting in maintaining agreed stock levels of consumable items
13. Preparing and assisting with general and specialised procedures including biopsies
14. Ensuring a clean and hygienic working environment
15. Preparing patients for treatment
16. Being involved in the manual handling of patients
17. Recognising equipment faults and reporting these immediately
18. Undertaking basic maintenance of equipment
19. Develop or gain any other skills that will complement role
Who we're looking for:
20. Experience in a customer facing role providing high standards of customer care
21. Working in teams and have the ability to use own initiative.
22. Working with supervision
23. Administrative role involving checking and monitoring
24. Preparing environment and resources for use during clinical activities
25. Has supported staff in an imaging healthcare environment.
26. Has supported staff in an independent healthcare environment.
27. Awareness of standards of patient needs and care
28. Awareness of Health and Safety and hygiene
29. English language to IELTS 7.0
30. Formal training at least at NVQ levels
31. Possess the mandatory training requirements for role including infection control and health
and safety competencies
32. Possess Equipment and Medical Devices Competences
33. Trained on MS Office and other relevant packages
