A well-established and expanding 11–18 secondary school in Leicester is seeking a meticulous and professional HR & Personnel Administrator to join its central operations team. The school has a strong local reputation for steady academic progress, structured leadership and a supportive working environment. As staff numbers have grown, the leadership team is strengthening its HR provision to ensure compliance, efficiency and excellent staff support. The school serves a diverse community and is known for clear systems, strong safeguarding culture and professional standards across all departments. The Role You will provide comprehensive administrative support across all aspects of HR, including recruitment, safer recruitment compliance, onboarding, contract administration and personnel record management. The role involves maintaining accurate staff files, tracking DBS and safeguarding checks, and ensuring that single central record requirements are consistently met. You will support recruitment processes from advert posting through to interview coordination and offer documentation. The role also includes monitoring staff absence, updating payroll information and responding to general HR queries from colleagues. Working closely with senior leaders and line managers, you will ensure that policies are followed correctly and that staff records are accurate, confidential and up to date.
