The Role
Southern Housing are looking for a CQC Service Manager to join our care services leadership team based across the Isle of Wight.
In this role you will be working from and with multiple care services, ensuring that they remain compliant with CQC (Care Quality Commission) regulations and local authority contracts. You will be leading and managing the operational effectiveness of Southern Housings registered care and extra care services, promoting the highest standards of quality, efficiency and consistency.
You will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service and Adult Barred List check. A driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance, for which mileage will be paid, is essential.
Please note this is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract
What youll be doing
Oversight of all care regulated services delivered by us Care Homes, Extra Care, Domiciliary Care
Lead and directly manage staff
Ensure effective implementation of staffing policies and procedures and to support staff with management or supervisory responsibilities
Ensure that risk management procedures are consistently followed
Maintain robust performance monitoring and management systems
Monitor the performance of and progress of services using the CQC standards
Produce timely and accurate statistical information and reports as required
What youll need
A Level 5 Registered Manager qualification
Experience of managing care regulated services in various settings
Extensive knowledge of CQC, statutory requirements, and legislation relevant to the provision of housing, care and support
Experience of working within structured budgets
Drivers licence and access to a car for business use
