Senior Surveyor Social Housing Compliance Temporary/Ongoing | Liverpool Opportunity for Permanent Work £55k level A social housing provider is seeking an experienced Senior Surveyor to join their team on a temporary, ongoing basis. This role requires a strong understanding of compliance across all areas of asset management, alongside proven leadership capability. Key Responsibilities: Oversee compliance activities across the housing stock, including fire, gas, electrical, asbestos, water safety and wider building safety Lead, support and mentor a small team Carry out technical inspections and ensure accurate reporting standards Ensure all works meet statutory and regulatory requirements, including Building Regulations and the Building Safety Act Work collaboratively with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders to drive a culture of safety and continuous improvement Provide expert technical advice to senior management and contribute to strategic planning Requirements: A recognised technical or surveying qualification (e.g. MCIOB, MRICS, HNC/HND in Building Surveying or equivalent) Strong and broad knowledge of compliance across social housing Demonstrable leadership or team management experience Excellent communication, analytical and report-writing skills Ability to influence, challenge and support colleagues at all levels Ability to build professional relationships with tenants and the wider community.
