Client Growth Manager – Professional Services
Salary: Up to £55,000 (Depending on experience) + Bonus
Location: Wirral
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Client Growth Manager to support the continued expansion of our UK Practices. This is a client‑facing, growth‑driven role responsible for maintaining and building client relationships, expanding our client portfolio, analysing the client market and trends, managing enquiry pipeline from start to finish, and supporting the development of existing client relationships to increase revenue.

Responsibilities:
Reporting into CEO, manage and qualify new business enquiries quickly and professionally
Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs, challenges, and services required
Clearly articulate the firm’s services, value proposition, and pricing structure
Prepare tailored proposals using Ignition and manage the full proposal lifecycle
Support the delivery of client presentations and first‑stage prospect meetings
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, sectors, and target client groups
Maintain an organised and accurate CRM pipeline with clear timelines, notes, and next actions
Analyse data to identify trends, bottlenecks, or gaps in the lead generation process
Oversee the onboarding of new clients, ensuring their transition into the firm is smooth, timely, and well‑managed
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all compliance, checks, and operational setup tasks are completed
Conduct client reviews to understand current needs and future growth opportunities
Support the creation of service packages that meet client demand and increase revenue per client.
Assist in developing targeted campaigns for existing clients in collaboration with marketing.
Build and maintain strong relationships with referral partners, introducers, and professional networks.
Attend networking events, conferences, and business forums to generate new relationships.
Maintain a database of referral sources and manage regular communication with them.
Represent the firm professionally and confidently in external meetings.
Collaborate with marketing to contribute to campaigns, events, webinars, and thought‑leadership pieces.
Provide insights into client needs, trends, and messaging for lead generation activity
Support the creation of testimonials, case studies, and client success stories
Leverage social media (LinkedIn) to build visibility and connect with prospects where appropriate
Provide insights and recommendations to leadership on growth performance and opportunities
Support the development of annual growth plans and targets
Recommend improvements to internal systems, CRM processes, and communication workflows
Stay up to date on accounting, tax, and technology trends relevant to SME clients
Help strengthen consistency in pricing, proposals, and processes across the practice
Skills Required:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience working within a similar Growth/Client Relationship Manager role within Professional Services (Preferred)
* Strong understanding of SME business operations and typical accounting needs
* Experience in writing proposals, strong copywriting and proof-reading skills is key
* Experience managing a structured enquiry or sales pipeline
* Confident communicating with business owners, directors, and decision makers
* Highly organised, reliable, and strong at managing follow‑ups and managing relationships
* Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
