Drainage Engineer Nights
We are recruiting for Drainage Engineers to work in 2 person teams, covering the whole of Kent. This is a permanent, full-time role based at Tonbridge Depot (Tonbridge, Kent) with 4 Nights On 4 Nights Off and 40.25 hours on average per week. Salary: £32,500 per annum. The role is on a 24/7 operation and requires flexible hours, weekends and participation in an on-call rota. Full training, PPE and use of company equipment will be provided.

This role is focused on delivering solutions to wastewater network and drainage problems on our Southern Water contract service.

Responsibilities
* Travelling to residential sites via HGV, operating a high-pressure water jet for restoration.
* Clean, clear and maintain drainage systems.
* Record each job report correctly on the specialist equipment provided.
* Run diagnostics and repairs on drains.
* Delivering good customer service.
* Maintain good health & safety practices while carrying out works.
* Ensure vehicle stock is full and replenished.
* Comply with health and safety responsibilities (PPE, safe site setups) protecting employees, the public and other road users.
* Utilise VISTEC and Salesforce platforms.
* Liaise with the client regarding progress and updates.
* Work unsupervised in all weather conditions with appropriate PPE and lone worker systems.
* Dynamically risk assess site access and working conditions.
* Provide support to colleagues.
* Inspect tools, equipment and plant before/after use; report defects or malfunctions.
* Carry out risk assessments and follow Lanes Group policies.
* Be flexible with ad-hoc duties as requested by management.

About You
The ideal candidate will be hard-working, respectful and compliant with health and safety standards. Experience with High Pressure Jetting equipment is useful but not essential.
