About the role
We are hiring a Civil Pipeline Engineer to join our team at an exciting time of our Company growth. Our Civil Pipeline Engineer will play a core role in the specification, design, maintain, and advise on all civil, hydraulic, and mechanical assets, working on a range of projects across Civil, Structures, Water and Wastewater sectors.
Core role requirements:
Below represents the core responsibilities of this role;
* Design and manage pipeline projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations related to pipeline construction.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate pipeline design with other project components.
* Design and manage civil and hydraulic design aspects of pump stations.
* Extensive knowledge of transient analysis and design
* Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports for pipeline projects.
* Provide technical expertise and support during the planning and execution phases of pipeline projects.
* Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to address project requirements and ensure compliance.
Qualifications and Experience:-
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
* Professional Engineer (PE) license or chartered status is preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on pipeline projects with a preference for UK experience.
* Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
* Strong understanding of pipeline design principles, materials, and construction methods.
* Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
* Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
* Familiarity with U.K, Irish and EU regulations related to civil engineering projects.
