A local primary school in Withington is currently seeking a highly skilled SEND Teacher to lead a small specialist unit of 5 pupils (expected to increase to 7 in September) with severe and complex needs. The role is to start on a supply basis, with strong potential for a longer-term block booking for the right candidate. This is a key leadership role within the unit, which comprises three experienced Teaching Assistants. As such, we are looking to speak with teachers who not only have a strong background in special educational needs, but also bring the confidence, competence, and interpersonal skills to direct and support staff within the classroom setting.
