Lecturer in English — Scale Points £28,273 to £42,655 per annum (pro-rata for part-time employees).
Responsibilities
* Deliver English GCSE and Functional Skills to learners on study programmes.
* Contribute to the planning, delivery and development of learning.
* Provide effective academic and pastoral support to students.
* Take responsibility for learner progress, attendance and achievement.
* Manage associated course administration and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
Qualifications
* Suitably qualified and enthusiastic teacher with experience of working in a further education environment.
* Experience of supporting learners in FE settings.
* Strong, up-to-date subject knowledge and a commitment to inclusive, high-quality teaching.
* Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage administrative responsibilities and communicate confidently with learners, colleagues and other stakeholders.
