Overview
In this role you will play a vital role in providing expert diagnostic services to our growing network of practices, delivering high-quality clinical insights that support the best possible outcomes for pets. Working as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary pathology team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a varied caseload from across the UK, including haematology, biochemistry, endocrinology, microbiology and cytology. This is a permanent, full-time position, though flexible or part-time arrangements can be considered for the right candidate. Remote working options are available.
Responsibilities
* Examine and report on cytology samples, including fine needle aspirates, effusions and fluids.
* Evaluate and interpret results across haematology, biochemistry, endocrinology and microbiology.
* Provide telephone and written consultations to veterinary surgeons.
* Support the training and development of laboratory technicians and pathology residents.
* Contribute to CPD, case discussions, and journal clubs within the team.
* Participate in quality control and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Competencies
* MRCVS or equivalent.
* Organised, self-motivated and adaptable, with strong communication skills.
* Able to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Enthusiastic about veterinary clinical pathology and committed to continuous development.

Remuneration & Benefits
£34,582 per year – estimated. Permanent, full-time position, with flexibility for part-time arrangements if suitable.
