Team Leader
Salary: £13.64 per hour, Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Service: Essential Care and Support Limited – Murton, £500 joining bonus.
As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team to deliver safe, compassionate and person‑centred support, ensuring the people we support are empowered to live fulfilling lives within their community. You will participate in on‑call duties, work day shifts, sleep‑over shifts and weekends. You will act as the front‑line manager, supporting approximately 12 colleagues, while completing essential administrative, compliance and operational tasks to keep the service running safely and effectively.
About The Service
A detached supported living service comprising 21 self‑contained flats and studio apartments arranged in blocks, where people live independently and receive tailored support such as promoting independence, life skills, cooking, medication administration, community activities and ensuring safety and wellbeing.

Your Role As a Team Leader Will Include
- Leading and supporting a team to deliver person‑centred support
- Providing hands‑on support and role‑modelling best practice
- Completing weekly payroll tasks and rotas
- Completing weekly audits and quality checks in line with compliance requirements
- Overseeing medication management and online care systems
- Ensuring health and safety standards are met
- Supporting and reviewing individual support packages
- Working closely with professionals and families
- Ensuring CQC standards, company policies and legislation are adhered to
Essential Qualifications and Values
- Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care (or working towards)
- Experience motivating and managing a team
- Full UK Driving Licence
