Be at the heart of our community! We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Social Worker to join us in delivering community mental health care within the Welwyn area of Hertfordshire. The area is well served with transport links to historic Hertfordshire and its countryside as well as into London and beyond. We are looking for a Social Worker who is passionate about delivering care to adults with mental health issues.
Role and responsibilities
* Provide clinical expertise and leadership in an Adult Community Mental Health Service (ACMHS).
* Participate in the referral and allocation process.
* Safeguard vulnerable children and adults.
* Contribute to case discussions and service-related meetings.
* Manage a caseload and provide direct support and advice to Service Users (Adults of all ages) and Carers, within the recovery framework, embracing the individual right to choice and control.
Requirements/Qualifications
* Band 6 Social Worker in an Adult Community Mental Health Service setting.
* Experience in safeguarding and contributing to clinical discussions and service development.
