Job Title: Director of IT, Data Analytics and Value Capture
Reports to: CEO
Hours of work: Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
Purpose of the Role:
This role involves strategic, relational, and operational responsibilities, including overseeing and developing St Basils’ IT and Cyber-security strategies, data management, data capture, and analysis systems. The goal is to inform decision-making, improve services, and report on impacts and value internally and externally.
The role includes management oversight of IT and Performance Hub teams and participation in the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
Key Accountabilities:
* Line management of the Head of IT and Performance Hub team.
* Developing and implementing IT and Cyber-Security strategies.
* Managing data capture, analysis, and reporting systems.
* Ensuring integration, organizational alignment, and KPI achievement.
* Continuous service review and improvement.
* Supporting operational services with IT and data analysis.
* Managing risks associated with these functions.
* Supporting Youth Services Managers and organizational objectives.
* Providing reports to Board, Committees, SLT, and YSMs.
* Budgeting in collaboration with the Finance Director.
* Participating in business planning and resource optimization.
* Supporting team development and performance management.
* Developing policies for performance management and reporting.
* Implementing monitoring systems, ensuring data quality and compliance.
* Delivering statistical analysis and insights for management actions.
* Advising SLT and managers on performance issues.
* Building interdepartmental relationships for aligned reporting.
* Driving continuous improvement in reporting processes.
* Using external data to inform work and outcomes.
Qualifications:
* Degree in a related subject or senior management experience with ongoing professional development.
Role Experience:
* Expertise in IT, data capture, and analysis.
* Experience with MS Power BI report development.
* Experience in reporting structures and data analysis.
* Understanding of value creation and capture.
* Experience implementing Cyber-security strategies.
* Leadership experience, including managing budgets and staff.
* Providing strategic guidance at Board level.
* Building relationships with stakeholders.
Knowledge of MS Power Platform products and MS Fabric is desirable.
