The Role:
Our drivers are one of the most important roles within Palletforce, and as a fully qualifiedClass 1 Driver, you will have the important role of delivering products to our customers whilst being safe and taking care of yourself on the road.
* Various HGV driving duties, including daily checks to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use, complying with vehicle security and standing procedures at all times.
* Manage the hand held terminals and be able to record accurate information.
* Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and returned to the Transport Office.
* Report any delivery issues in a timely manner to the Transport Office.
* Provide a professional driving service, meeting and exceeding customer expectations
* Ensure health and safety standards are adhered at all times
* You may be required to drive 3.5t vehicles during peak periods.
What we need from you:
* Qualifications. Class 1 Driving License.
* Experience.Previous experience is essential. Refrigeration and multi drop experience would be beneficial. Will have completed a CPC Training Course and have a strong geographical and logistical knowledge.
* Communication. You will have good communication skills, spoken and written.
* Influence & Persuasion.Build good working relationships with work colleagues and our customers.
* Planning & Organisation. You will be adaptable in your start and finish times and the ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines.
