About the Court of Protection Team:
The specialist Court of Protection Team is devoted to providing tailored legal advice and support for individuals with diminished mental capacity, often following traumatic brain injuries. The team prides itself on its empathetic, client-centric approach, focusing on protecting clients' best interests
through guidance on deputyship applications, statutory wills, and property & affairs management.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
As an Associate Solicitor, you will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to secure the best outcomes for clients regarding their private property and financial affairs. Your role will involve supporting experienced lawyers on complex deputyship cases, while also managing your own caseload. This position offers an ideal environment for you to gain valuable experience and confidence at a manageable pace.
You will receive extensive mentoring and support as you establish yourself as a trusted expert in this area of law and work towards greater responsibilities within the team.

* A qualified NQ+ Solicitor or Legal Executive with prior experience in Court of Protection matters.
* A calm demeanour under pressure, with a proactive approach to work and the ability to support multiple colleagues.
* Strong numeracy skills, accuracy in work, and comfort with budgets and accounts.
* Empathy and confidence in engaging with vulnerable individuals and their families facing challenging circumstances.
