We are seeking an ambitious Operations Manager to join our small team based in Bramhall, Cheshire. Due to increased demand since the pandemic, we want an experienced, well-organized manager to help lead and grow the business. Within two years, the successful candidate is expected to run the operations side of the Sports Abroad business, offering further career advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities:
1. Take full management responsibility for pre- and post-sales operations.
2. Sales: Provide information on pricing, facilities, and availability. Engage proactively with customers. Convert inquiries and follow up to ensure successful conversions. Deliver excellent customer service and build strong client relationships. Manage all post-sale requirements to ensure a flawless, personalized service.
3. Client relationship building.
4. Compile and update risk assessments for all destinations.
5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current campaigns, special offers, and competitor prices.
6. Marketing: Manage and update social media and website content.
7. Business development: Investigate and implement innovative ideas to grow the business. Identify new destinations, negotiate rates and conditions, and explore new markets within the sports travel industry.
8. Improve and develop office booking systems to streamline operations.
9. Recruit and manage additional team members as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven success in travel or event management roles.
* Exceptional organizational and administrative skills.
* Outstanding customer service skills.
* Degree qualification is preferable.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently, but also a team player.
* Good prioritization and time management skills.
* High attention to detail.
* Strong computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Knowledge of Spanish is advantageous.
* Experience with social media and website management (e.g., Canva, WordPress) is a plus.
* An interest in sports, especially competitive swimming, is preferable but not required.
