Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Cook. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook meals according to specified recipes and standards
* Delivering great food presentation and plating to ensure visual appeal
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times. Following clean as you go
* Follow food safety regulations and hygiene standards diligently
* Being able to work efficiently during busy service times, ensuring timely and correct delivery
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
* Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed
* Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly
* Work with the team to come up with new dishes
Experience
* Knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation methods
* Minimum 2 Years Experience working in a restaurant or food service setting
* Familiarity with food safety standards, hygiene practices and allergy awareness
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Good organisational skills with attention to detail
* Pastry and Traybake experience would be a bonus
