Job Title: Operations Lead
Location: Off Rose Hill, Willenhall, WV13 2JZ
Salary: up to £38,000 per annum plus annual bonus, other Veolia benefits, and Pension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage daily production operations, including scheduling, safety, and staff management.
* Organize resources effectively, prioritizing staff wellbeing and service quality.
* Ensure training and competency checks are conducted for all roles.
* Monitor operational performance, handle complaints, and resolve operational challenges.
* Oversee site operations, including improvement projects and daily activities.
* Manage site compliance with Veolia standards, environmental permits, ISO standards, VMS, and other relevant standards.
* Oversee site maintenance, including equipment and vehicles.
* Implement safety protocols and emergency procedures.
* Liaise with regulatory bodies and prepare reports.
* Identify and implement efficiency improvements.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and waste management practices.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience with budget management and cost control.
* Personnel, planning, and organizational skills.
* IT literacy, including MS Office.
* IOSH Managing Safely certification.
* NEBOSH Certificate and/or Leadership qualification (CMI or ILM) - advantageous.
* Full UK driving license - beneficial.
