Purpose of the Job
The Switchboard Operator and Postroom Assistant will manage the switchboard system from 9:00 AM to 4:15 PM during the working week and assist with sorting and opening mail to ensure timely processing.
Key Responsibilities
* Answer all incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department.
* Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with callers and visitors.
* Ensure all mail, including prisoner correspondence, is sorted and processed by the end of the day.
