An opportunity has arisen for a Public Area Cleaner to join our busy housekeeping team. Your main responsibilities will be the cleaning of public areas of both the hotel and restaurant to ensure quality standards are maintained whilst achieving maximum guest satisfaction.
A typical shift would start around 7am for 4 or 5 hours. This will be a 20 hour contract over 4 days. This role includes work at the weekends.
THE ROLE:
* Clean and maintain all public areas,
* Perform tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing surfaces.
* Empty and dispose of rubbish and recycling bins according to hotel procedures.
* Replenish supplies in public restrooms (e.g., soap, towels, toilet paper).
* Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards promptly to the supervisor.
* Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored correctly.
* Adhere to health and safety and hygiene standards, including COSHH regulations.
* Support housekeeping and maintenance teams as needed
