Due to a period of growth, Brightwork's client is currently recruiting Maintenance Engineers who will assist the maintenance department in undertaking scheduled and breakdown maintenance off all plant equipment.
Responsibilities
To respond to breakdowns and diagnosing of faults
To provide assistance in carrying out repairs and servicing company equipment
Ensure all relevant documentation is complete through qpulse
Ensure all work activities are carried out safely, reporting any hazards or near misses to your supervisor.
Liaise with Maintenance Manager/Supervisor/Chargehand on progression of work
Ensure good working standards are maintained
Organise workshop area to ensure it is clean, tidy and workspace is properly utilised
Any other work requested by manager/supervisor or chargehand to ensure effective operation of the business
Provide assistance to other engineers and apprentices
Experience
Attained Mechanical/Electrical modern apprenticeship
Attained HNC or NC qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Discipline
Various other company relevant qualifications/ certificates gained
Experience in plastics/injection moulding – ESSENTIAL
Fault diagnosis on automated machinery
Mechanical/Electrical experience to allow safe working on all equipment
Good basic knowledge in hydraulic systems
Good basic knowledge in pneumatic systems
Knowledge of packaging equipment, flex machines and assembly cells
Conveyors & hoist systems
