About the role:

1. Consult with project team and customers to conceptualise, design, cost, enhance and develop server and infrastructure systems to create efficient business systems to meet business needs following industry best practice and effectively present design concepts and solutions to all levels
2. Deliver, Test, maintain and secure (including data security) all network and OT including installations, upgrades, patches and documentation, while ensuring high availability of customer systems and infrastructure
3. Ensure that customers data is fully protected in the event of a disaster or other event, by creating, implementing and maintaining backup and other recovery systems, while following and keeping relevant procedures up-to-date
4. Respond to user/customer requests for changes to systems and infrastructure to meet business needs, following ITIL change principles or equivalent methodology
5. Identify, analyse and resolve the most complex issues, acting as an SME and training members of the team

Requirements

Here’s what the role looks like:

• Ability to operate in highly complex environments

• Strong network, OT, server and related infrastructure systems experience

• Experience of physical hands on build and configuration of networking and associated equipment, OTN and OT.

• Extensive IT/OT experience or equivalent

• Ability to operate in highly complex environments

• Able to adapt easily to changing circumstances

• Excellent communication and report writing skills

• Project management experience

• Strong business / industry awareness

• Awareness of ITIL or equivalent change management principle

• Mentoring of junior staff
