The role

This role is pivotal in ensuring the flawless execution of our ambitious projects within a dynamic and encouraging environment. Key responsibilities:
Project Planning & Controls
Build and maintain detailed project schedules and cost forecasts across the CAPEX portfolio.
Provide weekly performance analysis (cost, schedule, resources) with actionable insights.
Manage monthly forecasting, accruals, and improve cash flow accuracy.
Reporting & Governance
Develop effective cost control structures to enable accurate reporting and asset capitalisation.
Monitor and review prefunding estimates against benchmarks; identify areas for improvement.
Support annual CAPEX and maintenance budget planning aligned with site and global objectives.
Key requirements:
5+ years of experience in CAPEX project control, ideally in pharmaceutical, biotech, or advanced engineering environments.
Degree qualified in Engineering, Finance, or related discipline; project control certification preferred (e.g., AACE, PMP).
Proficient in SAP (project systems), advanced Excel, and project control methodologies (e.g., WBS, CBS, internal orders).
Strong knowledge of LEAN principles and root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and finance teams.
Proven ability to manage timelines, influence decision-making, and ensure financial compliance.
