Personal Assistant for May
May is a friendly and enthusiastic young woman in need of a personal assistant to help her attend the activities she loves. For the most part, the assistant will be driving May to and from her activities, but occasionally if she’s on a break they could also be taking her out to the shops or doing other things she enjoys.
The ideal match for May should be patient, calm, and understanding – as well as giving a good high‑five! This job requires a female driver with a clean driving licence, but a car will be provided for transport while on shift. While previous experience working with people who have autism is helpful, it’s most important that the assistant builds a relationship with May. If the assistant shares May’s interests in arts, crafts, and horses, then you’re already off to a good start.
This role is for a total of 20 hours per week, worked over 5 days Monday – Friday, with a shift pattern of 2 hours in the mornings (8.30 AM – 10.30 AM) and 2 hours in the afternoons (2.30 PM – 4.30 PM). The hourly rate for this position is £12.71, and it is based in Castlemilk, so it would be ideal if you’re nearby.
