3 month contract role with a Local Authority
Job Summary:
* The Planner (BAND2C) role at Sutton Housing Partnership is a temporary administrative and clerical position within the Business Unit Repairs team.
* The post-holder will support direct labour planning operations, ensuring efficient scheduling and coordination of repair and maintenance activities.
Key Duties/Accountabilities (Sample):
* Plan and schedule repair and maintenance work for the direct labour team.
* Maintain accurate records of jobs, resources, and work schedules.
* Liaise with operations staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
* Monitor daily progress and adjust plans to meet operational requirements.
* Support reporting and administrative tasks to aid team performance and decision‑making.
* Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
Skills/Experience:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in planning, scheduling, or administrative roles, preferably within housing, facilities, or repair operations.
* Ability to manage multiple workloads and prioritise effectively.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and planning/record‑keeping systems.
* Clear verbal and written communication for liaising with teams and reporting.
* Ensure accuracy in scheduling, records, and documentation.
* Ability to anticipate issues and adjust plans accordingly.
Additional Information:
* Temporary role for 90 days, 8 hours per day (08:00–17:00).
* Office-based role; no hybrid working.
* Location: Carshalton Road, Sutton, Greater London, SM1 4LE.
