An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the administrative team at SLC Medical Group.
As we continue to strengthen our admin function, we are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join us on either a full-time basis (36 hours per week, over 4 days ) or a part-time basis (15 hours per week, over 3 days). The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an administrative role, along with a good working knowledge of IT systems and the confidence to use them effectively. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well within a busy team environment are essential.
Main duties of the job
This role requires you to undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice. This includes the provision of clerical support to clinical staff and other members of the practice team.

We are a successful, high achieving, training practice working across three sites: Scartho Medical Centre, Church View Health Centre and Taylors Avenue Medical Centre.
Job responsibilities
* To ensure thatcomplex clinical data regarding diagnoses and surgical procedures onpatient episodes, both inpatients and outpatients, is coded.
* To enter codedclinical data onto SystmOne ensuring accuracy, completeness, andtimeliness at all times.
* To support the secretarial team with clinical correspondence and referrals.
* To effectively deal with patient requests in atimely fashion
* Receive and make telephone calls as required
* Maintaining confidentiality at all time
* Dealingwith correspondence and general queries from patients
Scanning on all patient related correspondenceinto SystmOne in a timely fashion
Be responsible for the sending and tracking ofreferrals as requested by clinicians
Provide administration assistance to thepractice team
Updating electronic clinic record databases
Collating and reporting data

Qualifications
* Good General Secondary Education
* Educated to GCSE level standard
Experience
* Experience of working in a busy administration function/team
* Experience of working directly with members of the public in a busy NHS environment
* Experience of answering telephone calls in a high call volume environment
