Job Title: Digital Workplace Analyst/2nd Line Support
Location: Stublach/Northwich - hybrid- 3 days per week
Salary: £32,000 -£37,000
Purpose of the Job:
Providing remote and on-site assistance to IT service users, managing digital workplace incidents and service requests, and ensuring timely and quality end-user IT services.
Responsibilities:
Device Management:
* Procure and deploy laptop/desktop and mobile devices according to group standards.
* Install, configure, and troubleshoot software applications and services.
* Ensure local applications work consistently on devices.
* Maintain CMDB/Asset Database up to date.
Account Management:
* Process requests for Starters, Leavers, and Movers.
* Deploy and configure user accounts according to group standards.
* Manage user account privileges based on role requirements.
Administration:
* Keep digital workplace information and reports up to date.
* Assist with ad-hoc tasks to support the smooth running of the IT Department.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
* Excellent understanding of Digital Workplace technologies and support activities.
* Good knowledge of Audio Visual and meeting room technologies.
* Understanding of service provisioning tools and processes.
* Knowledge of Cyber Security principles and ITIL concepts.
* Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Desire to take ownership and see issues through to resolution.
* Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Experience:
* Previous experience in 2nd line technical support.
* Experience with Managed Services arrangements.
* Ability to work in a small, highly focused team.
* Experience dealing with stakeholders in a customer service setting.
* Good understanding of O365/AWS and Service now
