Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and driven Chef de partie to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
* Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to specified recipes and standards
* Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times
* Follow food safety regulations and uphold hygiene standards in accordance with health and safety policies
* Assist with meal presentation to ensure visual appeal of each dish
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
* Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure efficient workflow
* Monitor cooking times and temperatures to guarantee quality and consistency
Experience
* Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment
* Knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation methods
* Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices
* Previous kitchen experience, including working under pressure in busy settings, is highly desirable
* Experience serving customers or working in hospitality is advantageous but not essential
