What does the job involve?
Manages and enforces an effective compliance program that’s in line with internal Accreditation's.
Hours of work: 39 hours per week.
Dayshift - Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 8.00am to 1.00pm with 30-minute unpaid break for lunch
Compliance Engineer - What will my responsibilities include?’
1. Develop the Annual Audit Plan using appropriate risk-based methodologies.
2. Lead the Internal Audit function and develops compliance and risk management methodologies and procedures.
3. Lead the successful development, management and end-to-end execution of Audit and Compliance Plans.
4. Perform audits and investigations as a lead auditor in all areas (in particular QMS ISO, GS, AS ISO);
5. Ensure results are achieved in a timely manner by applying state-of-the-art methodologies while keeping key stakeholders updated.
6. Present results and subsequent recommendations to Senior Management
7. Coordinate the process of drafting and updating policies, procedures and company operating instructions.
8. Assist with internal issues when required within the Quality Department
9. Coach and mentor team members.
10. Supplier Assessment and Visit reports to be populated when required
Compliance Engineer - What key skills and experience do I need?
11. Must have the right to live and work in the UK (Essential)
12. Experience of working in a Quality / Engineering Environment
13. Good Communication & Interpersonal Skills
14. Work to a high standard of accuracy
15. Good Attention to detail.
16. Good working knowledge of MRP or ERP system (IFS). (Desirable)
Compliance Engineer - What qualifications should I have?
17. Basic O’ Level / GCSE Qualifications, technical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ).
18. Full UK Driving Licence
19. Proficient in standard Microsoft office software applications
20. ISO Lead Auditor Qualification (Desirable)
21. AS Lead Auditor Qualification (Desirable)
22. Security Clearance (Desirable)
23. Full Apprenticeship /Time Served in machining, or relevant skills applicable to the role. (Desirable)
