About the Role
‘Fit for the Future’
Our clients’ Naval Marine programme delivers the through-life engineering support of the Royal Navy’s complex maritime assets, ranging from managed inventories of equipment types to whole ships and nuclear submarines.
This role is within our clients’ Digital Solutions division, working in the Submarine Support Engineering department. The Digital Solutions team provides collaborative solutions for the UK defence maritime enterprise, including the customer and industry partners.
Responsibilities
* Deliver IKM projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
* Manage transition planning of applications into service and oversee IKM services.
* Engage with stakeholders at all levels to ensure project success.
* Work closely with the team to develop, deliver, and manage IKM services, infrastructure, and data analytics projects.
* Maintain governance arrangements, define roles and responsibilities, and lead project teams effectively.
* Ensure timely submission and agreement of client changes and variations.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience managing complex IT projects using APM, Prince 2 methodologies.
* Knowledge of project management, finance, and IT systems lifecycle.
* Degree or equivalent professional qualification, Prince 2 or APM certified.
* Experience with MS Projects and Excel; riskHive experience is a plus.
* Proven ability to deliver projects independently and manage client interfaces.
* Leadership skills to guide project teams and establish governance.
Additional Requirements
* Must be a sole UK national with active ‘Security Check’ (SC) or ‘Developed Vetting’ (DV) clearance.
* Experience working with controlled goods, technology, or services is preferred.
