ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be a member of an experienced Building Consultancy team, undertaking a wide range of responsibilities including contract and project work, as well as professional services such as TDD, dilapidations, and fire safety.

Building and maintaining close professional relationships with clients, tenants, and colleagues is essential for success. Proactiveness and initiative are highly encouraged.
You will manage multiple building surveying instructions simultaneously for key clients, demonstrating your ability to work within set timelines and provide regular updates throughout the process.
Understanding client briefs and fulfilling their expectations are fundamental. Clients will rely on your professional advice and support on schedules of dilapidations, pre-acquisition surveys, due diligence, development monitoring, defect diagnosis, fire safety advice, and schedules of condition reports.
You may perform roles such as designer, contract administrator, project manager, or a combination of these.
Other duties include:
1. Successfully managing the project process from inception to completion.
2. Collaborating with landlords and tenants on ESG initiatives, ensuring environmentally sustainable methods and materials are advised and implemented.
3. Supporting team development by mentoring less experienced members and taking on leadership roles.
4. Developing a strategic view of the property asset lifecycle, aligned with client objectives.
5. Being available and proactive in identifying business opportunities and career progression.
6. Motivating and managing a small team of surveyors, including apprentices, graduates, and experienced surveyors, supporting their ongoing education.
