Interim External Reporting Manager – 12-Month FTC (Potential to Extend)
£75,000–£80,000 + Hybrid Working (2 Days in Central London Office)
A leading organisation is seeking an experienced External Reporting Manager to join its finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with strong potential for extension. This role offers the opportunity to lead group-level reporting and audit processes during a period of transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the production of consolidated year-end and half-year financial statements
* Oversee subsidiary and regulatory financial reporting
* Own and update group accounting policies and technical accounting papers
* Manage external audit relationships and act as key point of escalation
* Provide technical accounting advice across the group
* Drive best practice and continuous improvement in reporting processes
Ideal Candidate:
* Immediately Available or 1 Months Notice MAX
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience
* Strong IFRS knowledge and technical accounting expertise
* Proven experience managing audits and working with senior stakeholders
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Experience in a Big 4 or mid-tier audit firm is desirable
