Vacancy Description
As our workshop apprentice, you will work with a small workshop team based in our Kent depot. You will gain practical and hands-on skills working alongside our experienced workshop fitters/engineers.
What you will do at work:
* Fault-finding, repair and maintenance of a wide range of small tools, equipment and plant
* Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment
* Keep up to date with the service requirements of all items in the hire fleet
* Ensure equipment is clean, in good order and branded accurately
* Adhere to Health and Safety policy and procedures and follow safe working practices.
You will be based at our Kent Depot: New Marlborough House, Arnolde Close, Medway City Estate, Rochester, Kent, ME2 4QW

Training
Training to be Provided
You will gain a Level 2 Construction Equipment Maintenance Mechanic qualification. The training will take place at work and at the CITB's National Construction College in Bircham, Norfolk. College attendance is completed in blocks of 1-4 weeks duration, and you will be required to travel and stay in Norfolk.
