Criminal Case Manager Annual Salary: £30,000 Company Benefits Position Overview The Case Manager role will focus on selling our suite of Digital Forensic services, particularly those used in criminal proceedings. Mainly focusing on new business generating activities to secure more revenue, hit departmental targets and increase market dominance. The role is office based though there may be occasional travel for client meetings and seminars. A high standard of case management is required to build client confidence and trust with suitable objection handling to win regular instructions. Reporting Structure This individual reports to the Criminal Case Management Team Lead. This position has no direct reports. Place of Work This role will typically be based at CYFOR, Benjarron House, Middleton, M24 1SW but may also require occasional travel to other places of work in line with roles and responsibilities. Key Roles & Responsibilities Performing a combination of, but not necessarily all or limited to, the following duties: Contact potential clients via phone, email or any other necessary means to introduce our suite of Digital Forensic services. Follow up on Marketing efforts to secure new business opportunities. Provide quotes and project manage the non-technical elements of the role to ensure operational efficiency. Manage their own caseload(following the training period) and ensure the technical team are sufficiently briefed in order to complete their work effectively. Maintain business relationships with existing clients by regular contact by phone, email or meetings. Keep up to date with industry updates and changes. Including changes in legislation and competitor merges. Add to, amend, and update our company Case Management Software database with client details and activity. Attend and contribute to weekly team meetings/case management meetings To engage with and support CYFOR’s Quality Team in the accreditation and certification of the company to regulatory standards. To always dress and act in a professional manner. To lead by example, demonstrating professionalism to colleagues commensurate with post. To comply with safe working practices. To participate and reasonably engage in the Annual Staff review process. Any other tasks that may be required from time to time Experience, Knowledge and Requirements The Case Manager should meet all of the following criteria: A highly motivated, organised, proactive and enthusiastic individual who can work hard on developing and nurturing new and existing client relationships. Ability to work well within a team Basic understanding of the Legal Aid System. Basic understanding in Digital Forensics and industry software, selling points, techniques and limitations. Good written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail.
