Job Description
We are recruiting for a Controls Engineer to join a specialist engineering manufacturer based in Clydebank.
The business design and manufacture industrial systems used Globally. Due to continued project wins & Growth, they are strengthening their Controls team.
This role is suited to an engineer who wants ownership.
The Role
* Write PLC programs from scratch
* Develop control logic and HMI systems
* Produce electrical and instrumentation designs
* Configure industrial communications networks
* Conduct in-house testing and FAT
* Travel to site for commissioning
* Work directly with customers during project delivery
The Person
* Experience with Siemens PLCs preferred (others considered)
* Proven ability to develop PLC applications independently
* Comfortable working both in-office and on-site
* Strong communication skills
* Degree or relevant engineering qualification desirable
* Full UK driving licence
* Willingness to travel overseas when required
Hybrid working available after probation. Flexi-hours structure in place.
