* Design and model electro-mechanical components and assemblies, using Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) principles.
* Apply theoretical engineering knowledge to develop, analyse and interrogate design concepts and solutions.
* Support the prototyping, testing and validation of new designs and systems.
* Create and maintain accurate engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
* Create and execute test plans, analyse data and prepare test reports.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electronics, software, and manufacturing engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
* Work with suppliers and fabrication partners to procure parts and ensure that the parts meet specifications and quality standards.
* Support troubleshooting and resolution of electro-mechanical issues during development and production.
* Ensure products meet regulatory requirements, i.e. CE/FCC/NRTL conformance.
* Adhere to the New Product Development (NPD) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes.
