Relevant building surveying qualification (degree level) Membership of RICS, CIOB or similar professional organisation is desirable but not essential. Appropriate working knowledge of Building Regulations, CDM Regulations, Landlord and Tenant law, planning, and party wall legislation. Working knowledge of relevant forms of building contract and modern methods of procurement. Experience of working with contractors using SOR and non-SOR contracts.
