Job introduction

Brighton and Hove Council is recruiting for:

Casual Hostel Workers to work at New Steine Mews Hostel

The basic hourly rate is £14.13.

Enhancements are paid:

* hours worked between midnight Friday and midnight Sunday are paid at weekend time and a half
* hours worked between 8pm and 6am (other than at the weekend) are paid at time and a third

About the role

Casual hostel workers are required toassist in the day to day running of the hostel, as non-institutionally as possible.

You will be involved in supporting single homeless people and liaising with keyworkers. An awareness of the issues surrounding single homelessness would be an advantage.

Additional information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
