Finance Assistant - £30,000 + benefits - Maidenhead, Berkshire (on site)
FryerMiles are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a leading SME organisation in Maidenhead, Berkshire, to recruit a Finance Assistant. This role is for a leading provider of innovative sensing and detection solutions on a global scale.
Reporting to the Management Accountant and working in a small team, this role supports the daily operations of the Administration, Logistics, Sales and Finance teams.
The duties of the Finance Assistant include:
1. Resolve customer queries and liaise with various departments, recording notes on the system.
2. Assist with opening, closing, and updating customer accounts, including credit and proforma accounts, ensuring accurate information for customer service.
3. Monitor and review customer credit limits regularly and report overdue accounts to insurers with statistical turnover analysis.
4. Prepare and post employee and corporate credit card expense claims, accounts payable invoices, and daily bank reconciliations.
5. Process sales orders, send acknowledgments, raise invoices and credit notes through SAP, and liaise with customers on pricing, delivery, and order amendments.
6. Support Sales and Technical teams by fielding calls and inquiries, input purchase ledger documents into SAP.
7. Coordinate with internal and external auditors, manage company insurance administration, and handle mail distribution.
8. Assist with Health and Safety duties, monitor and issue PPE to staff, and perform ad hoc administrative tasks to support the department.
The successful Accounts Assistant will:
9. Have excellent attention to detail, good communication and interpersonal skills
10. Have advanced Excel skills
11. Experience of SAP
12. Have experience in similar role
13. Work effectively in a team environment
