Newly qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse – Abbey Vets – Shrewsbury – Full/Part Time – Salary £25,.
Based in the beautiful town of Shrewsbury, Abbey Vets is a friendly, first opinion, RCVS accredited small animal Veterinary practice.
We are seeking a full time (however part time would be considered) newly qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse. You will be joining a very friendly, and enthusiastic team of, three Vets, three RVN's, and two Veterinary Receptionists. With no OOH and a 1 in 4 Saturday mornings 08.30 – 12.30.
We are a supportive team who strive to achieve high standards and offer exceptional care for our patients and clients. We believe we can do this best when everyone works to their strengths. We encourage new ideas and have weekly team meetings to discuss them over a cuppa and a catch up with the whole team
Here at Abbey Vets we are well equipped with all the latest veterinary toys to include –
2. Designated nurse consultation room and consult stream with a cat only Wednesday morning
3. Awarded Gold ISFM cat friendly practice and Dogs Trust /BVBA Dog friendly clinic
4. Separate cat & dog waiting areas and wards
5. In house laboratory equipment, Tonopen.
6. Fully equipped theatre to include suction, cautery, multiparameter monitor and bair hugger
7. digital x-ray, advanced ultrasound and dental radiography
8. Laser therapy machine
9. Endoscopy
There is a varied case load, and the opportunity to develop your nursing skills, schedule 3 is encouraged and funded. We also encourage the development of particular interests and will support you in career development. Our nurse clinics are very well developed, and valued by our clients.
