We are currently recruiting Customer Service colleagues, with a starting salary of £, per annum, this is made up of a base salary of £, along with an additional £ flexible benefit and up to a £ discretionary performance related.

Just as no two customers are the same, no two days will be either. Whether you’re helping a customer face to face or on the phone - opening an account, moving some money or getting access to specialist advice, you’ll play a vital role in their life plans. You’ll be totally flexible in your approach and comfortable in undertaking a broad range of activities. This means not limiting your time and focus on one particular element of your role. You’ll thrive on the variety this gives you and take satisfaction for operating in a multi-skilled environment.

1. Listening to, understanding and anticipating customers financial needs

2. Presenting options and solutions across a range of products and services with a primary focus on digital first

3. Answering customer calls into our contact centre

4. Developing meaningful relationships with customers, and working with colleagues to look after their day-to-day and long-term needs

5. Helping us be a bank that’s simple for colleagues and customers to deal with


What you’ll bring:

6. Proven ability to deliver an outstanding consultative customer experience having explored a customer’s needs

7. Excellent listening, numeracy skills and communication skills, both face to face and over the phone

It would also be nice for you to have:

8. A real desire to go above-and-beyond for customers

9. Effective team working skills with a flexible, can-do approach to work

10. Openness to a broad range of activities, even if outside of business expectations

11. Ability to grow, adapt and change accommodating business needs and priorities

What else you need to know:

12. This role is based within our Tunbridge Wells Branch

13. This is a permanent role, and the working hours will be Full Time, hours per week, between the hours of Monday – Saturday, am – pm

Right to work in the UK:

26. Every individual must have the right to work in the UK to commence employment with Santander either by way of nationality, visa or work permit.
