Occupational Therapist – Equipment & Adaptations (0–18 Disability Service)
Medway Council is seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our 0–18 Disability Service, supporting children and families to live safer, more independent lives.
Compensation
Salary: Up to £43,425. £2,000 retention payment after 1 year of service (paid annually each April).

Key Responsibilities
* Undertake high-quality Occupational Therapy assessments for children and young people aged 0–18.
* Recommend and implement appropriate equipment and adaptations.
* Use clinical reasoning to develop effective, personalised intervention plans.
* Work in partnership with families, carers, and multi-agency professionals.
* Promote independence, safety, and inclusion within the community.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and safe working practices.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Must have a valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
* Qualified Occupational Therapist with experience or interest in working with children and young people with disabilities.
* Compassionate, proactive approach and strong commitment to empowering young people to achieve their full potential.

About You
