With expertise in lighting design, installation, project management, maintenance and the integration of smart technologies, we manage over one million street lights across the UK and help towns and cities become safer, smarter, greener and more efficient. Could you be our next Lorry Driver/Class 2 Driver (HIAB) to join the team and drive this success forwards?
What will I be doing in this role?
You’ll be working as part of a team undertaking the installation, maintenance and routine work for a full range of highway lighting apparatus including street lighting columns, lanterns, brackets, poles and signs across the Cotswold area.
This is a physically demanding role which will involve you working outdoors and on public highways, where you’ll also hold responsibility for operating a HIAB. In a typical day, you could expect to be:
* Installing and maintaining street lighting apparatus and furniture, which could include street lights, signposts or signs;
* Ensuring we deliver outstanding service to our clients and the general public;
* Working to strict safety guidelines and regulations.
What do I need to be successful in the role?
It would be a benefit if you have an electrical background.
We work in all weathers, so you need to be the type of person who is happy working outdoors all year round.
* Full UK Driving Licence
* HGV Class 2 Licence
* ALLMI course (The Association of Lorry Loader Manufacturers and Importers)
Nice to haves:
* IPAF/PASMA working at heights training
* Completion of a G39 Electrical Safety training in the planning, installation, commissioning and maintenance of public lighting and other street furniture.
