Service Advisor – Gloucester
Location: Gloucester
Salary: £29,000 - £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 17:00 (40 hours per week)

The Opportunity We’re seeking a Service Advisor to join a busy and respected commercial vehicle operation in Gloucester. If you’ve got a background in front-of-house service, strong admin skills, and enjoy being the go-to link between customers and the workshop — this is a fantastic opportunity with solid job security and benefits.
You’ll be joining a friendly and experienced team, where you’ll be trusted to take ownership of service bookings, provide excellent customer communication, and ensure everything flows smoothly between departments.
What You’ll Be Doing
Acting as the first point of contact for all service-related queries
Booking vehicles in for maintenance and repairs
Liaising with workshop and parts departments to coordinate jobs
Keeping customers up to date on progress and managing expectations
Processing job cards and invoices accurately
Supporting the team in delivering exceptional aftersales service
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a Service Advisor or Aftersales role (automotive or commercial vehicles preferred)
Confident communication and people skills
Organised, calm under pressure, and proactive
IT-literate with accurate admin skills
A team player with strong customer service values
