Wycombe Wanderers FC is a League One Football Club with ambition. We’re on an exciting journey to grow the club through investment to support evolution of the 1st team working environment, training ground infrastructure, and progression to higher performance levels, alongside development of a new progressive Academy.
Placement Role Outline
This role will be integrated across the provision of our physical performance programme. Operating from our newly refurbished training ground you will aid with tasks that support the daily functioning of the physical performance department across on-field training, gym-based strength & conditioning, sport science and monitoring. You will support the collection and management of key data streams describing training stimuli, player load, adaptation, fatigue, health and wellness. You will learn about technology management and integration within the training process, and about data informed decision making and planning. You will be engaged in supporting the coaching environment on the grass and in the gym through regular training and injury rehabilitation, and processes aligned to effective player nutrition, hydration and recovery.

Requirements
The successful candidate will need to meet the following requirements:
•Studying for a BSc or MSc in Sports Science, Strength & Conditioning, Sport Rehabilitation or equivalent with a year-long placement (sandwich year) as part of their degree.
•Valid and accepted enhanced FA DBS CRC (Criminal Background Check) or be willing to undertake this check if successful
•Valid UK driving licence
