Senior Process Engineer
Band/Hierarchy/Job Group: Technologies (PSA)
Job Overview: The Senior Process Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring that the company’s proposals and designs are technically feasible. The role includes process design for PSA plants in oil and gas, refining, and related industries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process Design:
* Lead development and optimization of PSA systems for hydrogen purification, carbon capture, and gas purification.
* Assist in the design of PSA plants.
* Provide technical documents such as P&IDs, BOMs, PFDs, and Process Block Diagrams.
* Conduct kinetic and isotherm modelling for process simulations.
* Utilize ASPEN Adsorption, HYSYS, MATLAB, and VBA for process design and analysis.
* Perform CFD simulations using SolidWorks.
* Ensure compliance with ATEX safety standards.
* Analyze data for plant optimization.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for process improvements.
* Develop PSA solutions during tender and contract stages.
* Prepare technical proposals with performance parameters.
* Address customer requirements such as capacity, purity, energy, and maintenance.
* Translate customer needs into feasible, compliant solutions.
Client Interaction:
* Maintain and build relationships with clients.
* Understand client needs and provide aligned solutions.
Education, Experience & Skills:
* Master’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering.
* Deep understanding of PSA/process systems and gas separation technologies.
* Knowledge of carbon capture and net zero solutions.
* Proficiency in ASPEN Adsorption, HYSYS, Matlab, VBA.
* Experience with CFD simulation in SolidWorks.
* Strong understanding of ATEX standards.
* Proven ability to develop and troubleshoot PSA systems.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Attention to detail in documentation and calculations.
