Due to business requirements, we are now looking to acquire the services of an experienced Learning & Development (L&D) Advisor to foster the culture of continuous learning & professional growth within the Bank.
* Please note that this is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement comprehensive Learning and Development strategies that align with the Bank's goals and the SMCR requirements.
* Create and maintain competency frameworks and ensure they meet regulatory standards.
* Design, deliver, and evaluate engaging training programs and workshops for employees at all levels.
* Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and develop customised solutions.
* Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs, adjusting as needed to improve outcomes.
* Serve as a subject matter expert on SMCR-related competency requirements and provide guidance to senior management and HR colleagues.
* Maintain accurate records of training activities and employee progress.
Key Skills/Experience:
* Proven experience in a Learning and Development role ideally within Banking or Financial Services.
* Previous experience and knowledge of competency requirements under the SMCR will be advantageous.
* Strong knowledge of Learning and Development frameworks and best practices.
* Excellent training delivery and facilitation skills.
* Ability to design and implement effective training programs.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent stakeholder management/engagement.
* Strong organisational and project management skills.
* Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other relevant software.
