We are aprivately owned, independent 4 Red Star Hotel and Spa. The successful candidatewill be joining our Conference & Events team at Bedford Lodge Hotel &Spa to provide an exceptional experience for guests hosting and attending avariety of events. The Position
As partof the Conference & Events waiting team you will join a friendly, flexible andcustomer-focused team, catering a wide variety of events and celebrations heldat Bedford Lodge Hotel.
You willplay a key part in ensuring our guests receive exceptional service, whethertheir event be for business or pleasure.
A weekworking in the Conference and Events Department will vary, you will be trainedto look after corporate conferences, ensuring their day meets an importantschedule, as well as fulfilling a couple’s dreams, waiting on their wedding dayuntil the party is over.
With notwo days the same, you will have the self-motivation to thrive in a demandingenvironment working alongside your peers.
Experienceis not a must as training will be provided, however it is preferred for thisposition.
About You
* You must have excellent customer care andcommunication skills
* You must have flexibility and availability to workevenings and weekends
* You must be organised, timely and pro-active
* You are neat and well-presented
* You are physical fit and able to meet the demandsof the role
* You have a desire to work in a professional, guestfocused environment
* Ideally you have experience in waiting and/or bar work,however you will be given training as needed.
